Our context-sensitive performance support tool – the Angel Halo - brings an entirely new dimension to learning, making it available exactly when you need it – right from the relevant part of the application. The Angel recognizes the location of the mouse in an application (for instance the Margins button on the Page Layout tab in Word 2007), and alerts users when relevant training is available. The tool links users directly through to appropriate interactive training, video or quick reference guide (anything with a url or shared file location). So if a user is having problems applying Styles, for instance, and the cursor is in the Styles area of Word, the user can click through to the Angel Resource Gateway for a menu of styles-related training options.

The Angel brings your training straight to the users – they don’t have to look any further for assistance. It launches any training material, yours, ours or third-party. It is searchable and can be filtered to deliver training to specific groups of users, so they see training which is relevant to them.

The Angel Resource Gateway brings all your training materials into one table of contents. The Angel Resource Gateway acts as a mini content management system for any quick reference guides, internal or external e-Learning modules, videos, or even useful links. Anything with a URL or shared file location can be managed from this page. It acts as the gateway to all your own training resources and any third-party material you may wish to make more readily available.

The Gateway resources are searchable for ease of access. You can e-mail resources to other people straight from this page (great for the Help Desk), print them, get hot-line training support, or see related training material.

The Gateway can be made context-sensitive through use of the Angel context-sensitive support.

The Angel Pathfinder is the tool that we, as training providers, have been waiting for. Users select their role in the firm, and a clever algorithm generates a series of relevant questions regarding what tasks they perform and how they work in that role. Once they have made their selections, which only takes a couple of minutes, the diagnostic tool generates a series of training recommendations and links, specifically for them, to help them with the tasks they perform.
